Dandelion Days

Annual two-day street festival in downtown Jackson featuring food vendors, crafts, live music, and a beer and wine garden.

Dandelion Days is an annual two-day street festival on Jackson’s Main Street hosted by the Jackson Lions Club. Browse vendor booths, enjoy live music, and sample food from local vendors. The event includes a pancake breakfast, beer and wine garden, and activities for the whole family.

Pancake Breakfast

Start each morning with the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast at the Jackson Civic Center (33 Broadway), starting at 7 AM both days. See Lions Club Pancake Breakfast for details.

Live Music on Two Stages

Two stages keep the music going all weekend:

  • Petkovich Park Stage — sponsored by the National Hotel
  • Logan’s Alley Beer & Wine Garden Stage — sponsored by Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort

Food & Kids’ Carnival

Food booths line Main Street with a variety of options. A kids’ carnival with rides is set up near Petkovich Park.

Parking & Shuttles

Free parking with shuttle to Main Street is provided by the Amador Transit from three locations.

Paid parking is available in the Grocery Outlet parking lot, this will be operated by and benefitting the Argonaut Jr. Mustang Youth Football program (no shuttle or overnight parking).

Road Closures

Main Street, Water Street, and Broadway near Petkovich Park will be closed to traffic for the duration of the festival.

Eyeglasses & Hearing Aids

The Lions Club collects used eyeglasses and hearing aids at the event. Bring any you’d like to donate.

About the Jackson Lions Club

Dandelion Days is one of several major fundraisers held by the Jackson Lions Club. Proceeds support the 3rd of July Fireworks Spectacular, the Halloween Parade, college scholarships, and other local community projects.

Ladies and gentle-lemons, boys and squirrels — it’s showtime! The Sultan of Silly brings his musical comedy antics to Petkovich Park for a short-but-sweet 30-minute program of fun and funny songs for kids ages three to eight. Don’t miss his one-hit-wonder, “The Popcorn Song.” Moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, dogs, and cats welcome. Don’t be late!
